Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started working professionally when she was a teenager in the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. In the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. She portrayed the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway at the age of 15, and earned a Drama League Award nomination. Molly was in Broadway in the 2004 production of Fiddler on the Roof. Then, she attended Princeton University and was a member of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree the year 2008. It was during this time that she made her film debut in Disney s College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. During this time she also appeared in a film for the first time, Disney s College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. After graduating Molly was in Off-Broadway productions of several plays including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in productions on television, such as Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a major part in a variety of regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008 at Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in the year 2008 as well as Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she portrayed Anne. Molly is well-known for her role as Ali who is a teen daughter, in Paranormal Activity 2, a 2010 film in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed.
