Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher is a Canadian musician and singer from Canada. The early work of her was described as moving to "lo-fi R&B" to futuristic dance-pop,[4] and has incorporated influence from electronic music, hip hop, as well as rock. Her lyrics often touch the themes of science fiction as well as feminist themes. Five studio albums have been issued by her. Grimes was born and raised in Vancouver in the early 1990s, before she moved to Montreal at the age of 2000. Grimes started releasing her music in solo fashion from the mid 2000s. The albums released were through Arbutus Records in 2010, Geidi Primes and Halfaxa in the year 2010. The following year, she was signed to 4AD and rose to prominence when she released the third album of her studio, Visions, in 2012. Visions contains the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion". It also was awarded the Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. Art Angels, her fourth studio record, was released in 2015. Many publications considered it the top album. Sixteen years later, her fifth album, Miss Anthropocene, was launched in the year 2020. Grimes was also an actor and judge on Alter Ego's competitions for music, had a role as a vocalist on the album Cyberpunk 2077 which was released in 2020. Grimes Grimes Grimes
